I've been having a recurring dream about counterfeit money:
(A.K. says he thinks I'm having money anxieties. A.W. says he thinks I'm worried about seeming fake.)
Anyhoo, it made me think of this article from the New Yorker turned into a book
about the artist J.S.G. Boggs, who draws his own money and then tries to "spend" it.
Various governments have sought to seize and destroy his work, which is often far more valuable
(and subjective value is part of what his work is about) than their face value.
