Love Bliss Lau's body jewelry, but this bracelet is a total dream.
Icon
I don't agree with all of her political views, particularly some of the later ones,
but Oriana Fallaci is definitely an icon.
Mies van der Rohe
What's with my fondness for surly old man decor?
Bust of Mies van der Rohe from Chicago Architecture Foundation.
Backpack
So classic and comforting. I wanted this once, and then forgot about for a decade.
Might need to replace my Le Sportsac backpack.

2001: A Space Odyssey
". . . a tiny snapshot of the film every second. Each row contains sixty of these frames, representing one minute of film time.
This process continues for the whole movie . . ."

Dream money
I've been having a recurring dream about counterfeit money:
(A.K. says he thinks I'm having money anxieties. A.W. says he thinks I'm worried about seeming fake.)
Anyhoo, it made me think of this article from the New Yorker turned into a book
about the artist J.S.G. Boggs, who draws his own money and then tries to "spend" it.
Various governments have sought to seize and destroy his work, which is often far more valuable
(and subjective value is part of what his work is about) than their face value.
Peruvian tourist
Read an old Teen Vogue while lounging by A.W.'s pool this afternoon.
This Peruvian tourist feature -- layers upon layers -- is too good.
Urban herb garden
My new herb garden, in the alley.
The ray of sunshine slowly travels across it during the day.

The moss on the far end is for rubbing when I get stressed.
